Shaq Challenges Cody To a Match, Potentially at AEW Revolution

AEW held their awards show this week via Bleacher Report. During the event, NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal challenged AEW EVP Cody Rhodes to a ‘battle.’

Shaq said ‘Cody Rhodes, you little punk. You want a battle? You just name the time and the date. I’ll be there. You little punk, with your little blonde hair’¦look like a little girl. You want some of the Shaq-attack’¦ let’s do it in March. How about that?’

Shaq vs Cody

The feud between Shaq and Cody has been brewing over the past few months. Jade Cargill has been seemingly ‘representing’ Shaq on AEW Dynamite up to this point, with a tag team match likely at AEW Revolution.

Cody’s partner in that match was originally meant to be his wife Brandi Rhodes. This of course is not possible, as Brandi is on leave whilst she is pregnant with the couple’s first child. Red Velvet has been integrated into the storyline and said of Cargill that she will “stir that b*tch-as* up,” so that appears to be the direction for Revolution: Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet vs Shaq and Jade Cargill.
