Shaquille O'Neal on BKFC - "This Is The Future Of Fighting"

NBA legend and soon to be AEW performer Shaquille O’Neal recently confirmed his intention to invest in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) promotion.

‘These are the greatest, toughest athletes in the world,’’ said Shaquille O’Neal to USA Today. ‘The fact that they’re not using gloves makes them the toughest athletes in the world. I think this is the future of fighting.’’

Founder of BKFC David Feldman also discussed Shaq getting on board with the promotion. Reportedly, it is extremely close to be finalised. ‘Now we’ve got one of the most sought-after sports figures in the entire world?’’ Feldman began. ‘Who doesn’t know Shaq? And now he’s going to be part of this company and it’s going to make a lot for people want to be part of the company.’’

Shaq was in the arena for BKFC’s KnuckleMania this past Friday. The main event of that show saw Paige VanZant make her bare knuckle debut. VanZant would end up losing the fight via unanimous decision to Britain Hart, with the former UFC fighter not being able to really find her feet until the final round.
