WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has recently made a bold claim that he could be the catalyst to push AEW Dynamite’s viewership over the one million mark.

Bully Ray’s claim came in the wake of an intriguing storyline that unfolded on the July 26th episode of AEW Dynamite. The new FTW Champion, Jack Perry, took to the ring, where he threw shade at Taz and ECW.

This led to a confrontation with ECW veteran Jerry Lynn. AEW has since announced a face-to-face between Perry and Lynn for the next Dynamite episode, sparking speculation about a potential ECW angle.

Bully Ray’s Million-Viewer Guarantee

Bully Ray, an ECW alumnus himself, spoke about this potential storyline on Busted Open Radio. He expressed his belief that if he or Tommy Dreamer were advertised for the show, they could easily push the viewership over a million.

“If the story went down the ECW road and I showed up in the right town, there’s monster business to be done there,” Bully Ray said.

He further added, “This is not me blowing smoke up my own ass…if you announced that Bully Ray, or even Tommy Dreamer to the matter, were showing up on ‘AEW Dynamite’ on whatever week it was, to come face-to-face and confront Jack Perry, you’re doing over a million viewers. Guaranteed.”

The ECW Road and Its Impact on AEW

Bully Ray believes that Tommy Dreamer would be the best fit for this storyline, given his deep-rooted history with Taz and ECW.

He also suggested that if All Elite decides to go down the ECW road, it could make Jack Perry a bigger star than any other talent currently in AEW.

Perry recently won the championship from Hook on the Blood & Guts episode of Dynamite, marking the first defeat in Hook’s career.

Both Bully Ray and Dreamer have remained active in recent months, even participating in a feud in IMPACT Wrestling.
