WWE Extreme Rules 2022 is the next Premium Live Event from the company, and there are apparently titles that won’t be on the line.

According to a recent report/rumor from Xero News, it’s looking like the Tag Team Championships and the Intercontinental title will not be on the line.

“Extreme Rules will be 6/7 Matches” the site began on Twitter. “No Tag Team Defense or IC title defence” Xero added.

“WWE Still looking into a possible US title match. But no plans at the moment for one” the site claimed in conclusion.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

Gunther is set to defend his IC title against Sheamus on SmackDown in the next few weeks, so it makes sense that he would not be defending at the PLE.

Not having a Tag Team Championship match is a real shame, as the Bloodline are easily one of the best elements of the WWE programming right now.
