UFC legend Nate Diaz is set to enter the boxing ring against Jake Paul in August, and the former MMA fighter made a big claim about his status.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the big bout, Diaz claimed that he is the ‘greatest fighter ever’ due to his time in Ultimate Fighting Championship.

“I’m the best fighter ever, [’¦] Everybody agrees with that” Diaz claimed, with Paul then pointing out that he has 15 losses across his combat sports career.

“But who did I fight? Top 10” Diaz would clap back. “I’ve been fighting top 10 guys the whole time. I probably fought five guys in my whole career that weren’t top 10 when I wasn’t top 10 either.

“What happened with Conor McGregor? How many rounds did I fight him? I f*cking knocked his a** out in seven minutes” Nate continued.

“He got choked, because he was not trying to get hit no more, and he was smart and took the way out. That’s the way to get out here. Take it the way he had to. Isn’t that the goal of the sport? Seven minutes” Diaz concluded.

Over 20,000 people have signed up for early access tickets which went on sale today, smashing the American Airlines Center presale record for tickets. All other tickets will go on sale Thursday, May 11th at 10am PT / 12pm CT / 1pm ET at Ticketmaster.
