Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier are set to clash at UFC 257 on Saturday, 23rd January 2021. The highly anticipated rematch between the two 155 pound stars will be the first major bout of UFC’s 2021 schedule.
Six years ago Conor McGregor would defeat Poirier at 145 pounds during the first round. It would only take McGregor 1:46 to finish Poirier in that first fight, and it’s likely that the two warriors will be going far longer in the rematch. The rematch will be held at Lightweight, where both men have seen success since their original clash back in September 2014.
