UFC 257 will be taking place tonight from the ETIHAD Arena in Abu Dhabi. The ’˜Notorious’ Conor McGregor will be facing Dustin Poirier in the main event of the night, with the winner of that bout likely to be included in a Lightweight Title fight next.
Dana White revealed last weekend that Khabib Nurmagomedov has not retired, but looking for someone to show him something ‘spectacular’ for him to want to return and fight. Dustin Poirier recently commented on Khabib’s ‘announcement’ from White. “It’s noise” Poirier stated.

“It doesn’t change anything. We still don’t have an answer if he’s retired or not” Poirier then continued. “It’s kind of strange, I didn’t expect it to be grey, I thought it would be black or white. I thought was gonna be yes or no, I didn’t expect that [he wouldn’t confirm].”
Poirier would then say that he is fully focused on the UFC 257 fight against Conor McGregor; however he alluded to the idea that he is going to look at a potential Khabib fight if he is successful against McGregor. “But at the same time that doesn’t matter right now, because I have my hands full Sunday morning here in Abu Dhabi. After I get through Sunday morning, then it matters, but right now it’s just noise.”
