UFC Lightweight fighter Justin Gaethje recently took to Twitter to talk the Championship picture in the division. Charles Oliveira has stated recently that he believes he should be in the mix to get a Lightweight Championship shot soon.
‘Sick of hearing [Charles Oliveira] deserves anything,’ Gaethje wrote on Twitter. Justin also added a picture of Oliveira’s current winning streak. ‘Other than Tony, what the f*ck has this dude done to get a shot at a title?’
There’s been a lot of talk regarding the UFC Lightweight division and the belt recently. With Khabib Nurmagomedov still saying that he is ‘retired,’ there’s a number of fighters who believe they deserve the shot at the interim/vacant belt.

Dana White himself recently stated that he doesn’t believe that Khabib is even really retired. ‘I truly believe, he can say whatever he wants, I believe that if this thing plays out? The right guy, however the fight happens, he’ll fight him, you know it too Khabib, I know you know it. I can see it in his face when we talk.’
White also made comment on the Lightweight Championship picture as it stands. ‘I saw some talk that Dustin should be champion, but Dustin just got smoked by Khabib, Conor just got smoked by Khabib, [Justin] Gaethje just got smoked by Khabib. They’re gonna have to fight this thing out and we’ll find out who the champ is. It’s the best way, then nobody can deny who the best guy in the world is, because they will have all fought.’
