UFC Featherweight Max Holloway recently appeared on the DC & Helwani podcast. ‘Blessed’ would discuss a number of topics on the show, including his want for another UFC bout against ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor.
“It would be super fun you know?” Max Holloway began on the podcast. “But at the end of the day we got [Calvin] Kattar first. I don’t want everybody be like ‘oh, he’s looking at this guy blah blah.’ But at the end of day? UFC know I’m a call away. He (McGregor) knows I’m only a call away, you know?”
“To be the best you gotta beat the best” Holloway continued. “And the best? Is Blessed. He can let me know. “
Max Holloway Speaks to ABC
Max Holloway also recently spoke to ABC ahead of tonight’s Fight Night card, saying that the McGregor matchup ‘intrigues’ him.
“People consider him one of the best in the sport today,’ Holloway stated Wednesday at UFC on ABC 1 media day. ‘And I can’t wait. As a competitor, I would love to (get a rematch). That’s one of the fights that intrigues me. We fought a long time ago, and he knows that, too. But like I said, first thing’s first ’“ we got Kattar and then we figure it out after this.’
