UFC Fight Night Vegas – Aljamain Sterling Reacts To Illegal Knee

Last updated

The UFC returns tonight for the next Fight Night event from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event of the card will see the UK’s Leon Edwards take on Belal Muhammad. It was originally slated for Edwards to be facing Colby Covington during tonight’s show, however these plans were changed when Covington supposedly ’˜ducked’ out of the fight.

One of the earlier card fights between Eryk Anders and Darren Stewart ended in controversy. There was an illegal knee during the fight, and unlike the UFC Bantamweight contest last weekend this fight was ruled a contest.

UFC Fight Night – Sterling Reacts

The fight between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling was ruled a disqualification in a similar situation. The Bantamweight Champion Sterling reacted to the situation via Twitter.

After Kevin Holland wrote “that was nothing compared to the blast @funkmasterMMA received. #UFCVegas21;” Aljamain Sterling responded by saying “as long as people with a brain of reason can see the difference.”
