The overnight ratings for WWE SmackDown on Friday, August 2022 are in and they’re disappointing from a viewership standpoint for the company.

SpoilerTV is reporting that the show averaged 1.983 million viewers on August 5th, down from the 2.060 million viewers the show managed to average for the previous week.

The first hour of the show reportedly pulled in 1.986 million viewers, whilst the second hour reportedly did 1.980 million viewers overall.

What is promising for the company is that the 18-49 key demo was actually up this week. The 18-49 rating was reportedly 0.45, up from the 0.40 from the prior week.

The first hour of WWE SmackDown drew a 0.40 rating in the demo, whilst the second managed to garner a 0.50 rating.

We’re expecting the final numbers for the FOX Network show to be revealed on Monday afternoon, where we will probably see a slight jump to around 2 million for the blue brand this week.
