This week’s SmackDown was the night of big appearances. The show opened with the return of Goldberg who challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal title. The main event of the episode then saw another big appearance as Ronda Rousey made her debut for the Blue Branded show.

The segment saw the SmackDown women’s champion Charlotte Flair in the ring with official Sonya Deville. Sonya claimed that Rousey has picked the Raw women’s champion Becky Lynch as her opponent for WrestleMania. Flair said that she is not surprised because it’s the easier route for the former UFC champion.

Ronda Rousey then came out to a big pop. She greeted fans on her way to the ring. Ronda said that the last she checked, she won the Royal Rumble and she gets to pick her own opponent for WrestleMania. After cutting a promo on The Queen, Rousey said that she will see Charlotte at the Show Of Shows.

Flair then took a shot at Rousey’s baby and this angered the former champion. She tried to get to Charlotte but Deville stopped her, claiming that she runs the show. Taking advantage of the situation, Charlotte tried to charge Rousey but she sidestepped. Sonya Deville got on Ronda’s back leading to Rousey dropping her and applying the armbar. The show went off air with Flair retreating from the ring while Ronda stared her down.
