The WWE universe has been buzzing with anticipation regarding the potential appearance of Becky Lynch at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
However, recent developments have thrown a curveball into these expectations. Initially, Lynch was slated to face off against Trish Stratus at SummerSlam.
However, due to time constraints, the match was rescheduled to the August 14th episode of Raw.

The Rumor Mill and Becky Lynch Responds
Earlier this week, PWInsider reported that despite the rescheduling of the match, Lynch was spotted in Detroit, the host city for SummerSlam.
This sparked rumours that Lynch might still make an appearance at the event. However, Lynch quickly debunked these rumours.
In a cheeky response, she posted a selfie on Twitter from a location that was clearly not Detroit, captioning it, “Detroit has more palm trees and ocean than I remember.”

Official Confirmation of Lynch’s Absence
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has since confirmed with WWE that Lynch is not in Detroit and is not planned to be.
This confirmation puts to rest any lingering hopes of Lynch making a surprise appearance at SummerSlam.
Lynch’s absence from the event has seemingly not gone down well with her, as she has expressed her displeasure about being left off the SummerSlam roster.
