WWE Superstar Becky Lynch claimed before WWE RAW this week that she would not be backstage, but was that actually the case?
Lynch recently ‘blacked out’ her Twitter heading and changed her name back to Rebecca Quin, causing some fans to worry that she might be leaving the company.
Her tweet stating ‘I won’t be coming to Raw today’ got a lot of traction online, and whilst it is likely to just be part of the storyline involving her and Trish Stratus, fans were still concerned.
Was Becky Lynch backstage at WWE RAW this week?
According to a new report from Fightful Select, Lynch not being backstage this week at RAW was legitimate:
“Becky Lynch legitimately was not at WWE Raw this week” the site claimed on its Patreon subscription service, again causing some concern amongst certain fans.
All of this is very likely to just be part of the angle involving Stratus as we previously mentioned, as WWE has been using social media even more over the past six months to drive storylines forward.
Considering that the match between Stratus and Lynch is not expected to be taking place until SummerSlam, it might be some time until The Man makes her way back to WWE programming.
