Former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was reportedly backstage at the Hell In a Cell PPV event over the weekend.
‘The Man’ was at the event to watch her husband Seth Rollins in his match against Cesaro. Sunday was Father’s Day, and specifically the first for Rollins and his daughter Roux who was born back in December.
Rumors have been circulating regarding the in-ring return of Becky Lynch, with the former Champion having recently been seen at the WWE Performance Center.

The plan currently is to bring back Lynch when there are live crowds again in attendance at WWE events. The company had considered bringing Lynch back on screen at WrestleMania 37, but the plans for this were changed.
Lynch was originally meant to appear in a talk segment with fellow Four Horsewoman, Bayley. WWE had planned for a ‘Ding Dong, Hello’ segment on the Mania card where Becky Lynch would officially return, but this was changed. It wasn’t confirmed at the time if the rain delay for Night 1 affected the change of plan, but it is a likely scenario.
WWE will need to stack up the cards to bring back some buzz to the product following the ‘Thunderdome era.’ Becky Lynch would be a major player when she returns, with the likes of Rhea Ripley now on the main roster for her to feud with.
The Man isn’t the only Superstar that WWE are hoping will return soon, with The Rock and Brock Lesnar both in contact for potential returns at Survivor Series and SummerSlam respectively.
