Becky Lynch has been on maternity leave since late 2020. The ’˜Man’ gave birth to her and Seth Rollins’ daughter Roux in December, and since then fans have asked when The Irish Lass Kicker is likely to return to the ring.
It was reported by Ringside News back in May that the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion ’˜quietly’ re-signed with the company.
Becky Lynch signed her last contract in March 2019, which was reportedly a multi-year deal with a big raise ahead of her WrestleMania 35 main event appearance with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.
Becky Lynch ’˜Ready’ To Return?
It was rumored that the Irish Superstar was being brought back for a segment at WrestleMania 37, but these plans were apparently changed last minute.
Lynch was going to be part of a ’˜Ding Dong, Hello’ segment with Bayley, although the weather issues surrounding WrestleMania 37 and the time restraints meant that this did not go ahead.
It has now been revealed by a hairstylist on Instagram that Becky Lynch is sporting a new/old look ahead of her reported return to WWE.
It has not been confirmed when Becky Lynch will be making her return to the company, although several rumors have indicated that the SummerSlam PPV event is a likely destination for the former RAW and SmackDown’s Women’s Champion.
Lynch did tease that she would be re-appearing at the Money In The Bank PPV, but this did not materialize.
