A top WWE Superstar appeared to throw shade at CM Punk following his press scrum appearance after AEW ALL OUT this weekend.
Punk would shoot on a number of subjects during the post-show presser, including Colt Cabana, the AEW EVPs and Hangman Adam Page.
WWE Superstar Kevin Owens tweeted an image of himself and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the main event of WrestleMania this year, and fans seem to think that this is a shot at Punk.
Kevin Owens takes a dig at CM Punk?
The timing of Owens’ tweet, which was shortly after Punk had made derogatory comments about AEW EVPs, seemed to be a shot at the former WWE Champion who never got his own WrestleMania main event.
Owens is of course a longtime friend of The Young Bucks, and it was clear that whilst Punk didn’t mention them by name at the scrum, he was clearly shooting on them and Kenny Omega.
There’s no confirmation on whether this was actually a shot at Punk from the WWE Superstar, but it all seems a little bit too convenient to not be.
