Johnny Gargano is reportedly set to leave WWE by the end of this week, following his team’s loss at the NXT WarGames event this past weekend.
With Johnny Wrestling set to leave the company, fans are wondering whether he will now be making his way to All Elite Wrestling.
Whilst it wouldn’t come as a major shock to see Johnny Gargano in AEW, it seems far more likely that the former NXT Champion will be looking elsewhere once he has left the company.
The likes of IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan would certainly be viable destinations for the EVOLVE and PROGRESS great.
AEW might be detrimental to Gargano, to be honest. Whilst Gargano is a fantastic in-ring performer, he is pretty much the same build and style as a number of talents who are already in All Elite.
Whilst we’d certainly get some great matches out of it, Gargano going to AEW isn’t the best move when he can get some massive paydays on the indies and beyond.
