Mandy Rose could still be a major star in WWE

WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Mandy Rose won the NXT Women’s Championship on this week’s episode of the show, defeating Raquel Gonzalez at Halloween Havoc.

For years, WWE has tried to position Rose as one of the top Superstars on their Women’s roster. It wasn’t that many years ago that there were rumours circulating that the company were looking at positioning her as the ‘next Trish Stratus.’

It can be incredibly difficult for talent to move from the main roster back ‘down’ to what is considered developmental, and for some? In fact, it can be the death knell for their career.

Mandy Rose has proven though that she can adapt and is more than capable of being a top Superstar based on her recent NXT appearances.

Rose has clearly worked hard on her in-ring and presentation, and it’s fair to say that right now she is the best version of herself that she has ever been on WWE programming.

Next Trish Stratus? It’s perhaps not wildly out of the realms of possibility.

Mandy Rose Is NXT Champion

WWE RAW is broadcast each and every Monday night, and fans in the United Kingdom can watch the show with a monthly BT Sport subscription.

SmackDown is also available on BT Sport every Friday, again for fans who are subscribed to the monthly service that can sometimes be bundled with BT Broadband.

NXT 2.0 and WWE NXT UK are available to watch on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively on WWE Network in the United Kingdom and Peacock in the United States.
