WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar LA Knight is reportedly being considered for a move up to the WWE main roster in the near future.
According to a recent report from Fightful Select, WWE is considering bringing the former Eli Drake up to the main roster as a manager.
“LA Knight and Raquel Gonzalez have both been pitched as potential call-ups, Fightful Select has learned” it was noted by the site.
“Raquel seems to be expected by most within NXT, but LA Knight’s situation didn’t seem as certain.” Of course, Raquel made her debut on SmackDown this week.
“One of the pitches we’ve heard involved LA Knight potentially as a manager because of his highly acclaimed mic work” Fightful also revealed.
LA Knight WWE Main Roster
Bringing Knight up to the main roster and trying to ‘Adam Cole’ him is a terrible idea. It was a terrible idea for Cole too, who was being considered as a potential manager for Keith Lee at the time.
Fundamentally, Knight is great on the mic and solid enough in the ring to work the WWE main event style. If the company decided to really get behind him, then he could easily be a major star on either RAW or SmackDown.
