A released WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar was referenced on multiple occasions during this week’s episode of the show on USA Network.

Nash Carter was referenced, although not directly by name, by his former tag team partner Wes Lee and Trick Williams.

Lee would cut a promo saying: ‘I was riding high with my best friend and my brother just to have our world explode right from under our feet.’

Williams would interrupt the segment later on and say that Wes hadn’t been there for ‘his boy” following the release of the NXT Superstar.

WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Released

Nash Carter was released from the company earlier this year after Carter’s former partner Kimber Lee released pictures of Carter parodying Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

It is not currently known if WWE has any plans to bring the former NXT Tag Team Champion back into the company at any point.

It’s not likely that they will, but you can never say never with pro wrestling.
