Ric Flair and Becky Lynch have exchanged some harsh words in the past over The Man moniker. The 16-time world champion however, has now decided to let things go and he has actually apologized to the former Women’s Champion.

On the latest episode of his podcast (H/t Fightful), Flair revealed he talked to both Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins backstage at Raw 30th Anniversary special. He shook Rollins’ hand and apologized to Lynch:

‘I apologized to Becky Lynch. I walked up to her and said, ’˜May I speak with you for a minute?’ I just said I’m sorry this ever got to where it is’ I went over and shook Seth Rollins’ hands and I said, ’˜I’m gonna apologize to your wife.’”

Ric Flair explained that he feels he is no longer The Man. According to the wrestling veteran, it’s up to fans to decide who deserves to be called The Man:

‘I am not ’˜The Man’ anymore. ’˜The Man’ is whoever the people think is. Basically, we’ve turned it over to social media to decide who ’˜The Man’ is. Does that make sense?”

Flair also said that he was grateful to be at Raw 30th Anniversary show and celebrate the moment with people like Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.
