Mr Money in the Bank Austin Theory has been quiet on WWE programming for a while, and now a new rumor gives an update on his situation.
According to a recent report/rumor from Xero News, the briefcase holder will be putting his MITB contract on the line in a match.
“I’m hearing Austin Theory will indeed be putting his MITB contract on the line in an upcoming match” the site claimed on Twitter.
“No word on an opponent, but definitely heavily discussed in the last week or so/ The triple threat rumour is just that, a rumour” the site concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
There is currently no word on who this mystery opponent is, but it could be someone like Johnny Gargano, who has been feuding with Theory since his return.
We do not currently know if Theory is slated to be losing the match and his MITB briefcase, but it isn’t out of the question at this point.
