The main event for the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules 2022 Premium Live event appears to have been leaked ahead of time.

According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, there are two matches that are being considered for the main event slot.

“The Extreme Rules main event is a toss-up right now between Edge/Balor or Bianca/Bayley” the site claimed on Twitter.

“I was told last night [that] the current belief is which ever one doesn’t main event will open [the show]” Xero continued.

“Fight pit will be in the middle of the card (will be suspended and lowered). Once fully decided will update” the site concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

Bianca vs Bayley would make the most sense in the main event slot, as Belair has been absolutely killing it over the past year and deserves the shot.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens in that regard, as putting the Edge vs Balor match in that shot would also make a ton of sense as it is the top feud on RAW right now.
