John Cena is expected to be heading to WWE WrestleMania 39, but what is the latest regarding his rumored opponent?
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, Cena is expected to be facing Austin Theory on Night 1 of the event.
“As of 2 weeks ago, John Cena vs Austin Theory was pencilled in for Night 1 of WrestleMania 39” the site claimed on Twitter.
“Gunther would then defend the Intercontinental Championship on Night 2” Xero concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Considering all of the content that the company and 2K Games reportedly filmed incluing Cena and Theory recently it absolutely makes sense that the two would be colliding at WrestleMania.
