King of the Ring has been rumored to return in a big way, and a new rumor seems to indicate when it may well be happening.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, both the KOTR and Queen of the Ring will be returning with the finals taking place at WWE Money in the Bank.
“We have recieved some information this morning about King Of the Ring and Queen of the Ring” the site claimed on Twitter.
“A source has informed us that the current plan is for the King and Queen of the ring to be crowned at the MITB PLE” Xero concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
If the company does decide to have the finals at Money in the Bank, then that would be a great little extra for fans in the United Kingdom.
Of course, WWE recently revealed that the MITB Premium Live Event would be taking place from the O2 Arena in London, but there is no guarantee that a hometown hero would be getting the win at the Big 5 PPV event.
