WWE and Hollywood megastar The Rock recently praised Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart for being his mentor when he first joined the WWF back in the 90s.

Hart was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame and The Great One made an appearance via satellite during the ceremony itself.

The company Twitter account then thanked The Rock for appearing, and the former WWE Champion would respond in kind thanking Bret for his help early in his career.

‘My pleasure, Bret Hart was a mentor to me when he didn’t have to be and in our wild and intense world of pro wrestling” The Rock began.

“There weren’t many mentorship programs; back then He gave me guidance and I’ll always be grateful” Johnson continued. “Congrats my friend on your incredible accomplishment.”
