WWE legend Triple H made an unexpected appearance at tonight’s NXT Stand & Deliver event from Dallas, Texas.
The Game appeared following the match between Tommaso Ciampa and Tony D’Angelo, where Ciampa appeared to say farewell to the brand.
Triple H appeared and embraced Ciampa in what appeared to be the former NXT Champion’s farewell to the brand.
Ciampa paid tribute to The Game and Shawn Michaels before the match even started, doing the iconic water spit of HHH and in-ring pose of HBK.

It was the ending of an era for NXT, and even more poignant as HHH himself had to retire from in-ring action recently.
It’s not currently known what the future holds for Ciampa, although he is expected to be moved on to RAW or SmackDown at some point in the near future.
Hopefully, we’ll find out more about what WWE has planned for the former NXT Champion in the next few weeks.
