Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon appeared on SmackDown this week and apparently, he seemed in high spirits backstage.
It’s been quite the week to forget for McMahon, with the WWE Board of Directors investigating him for allegedly ‘paying off’ a former employee.
According to a recent report from Ringside News, everything was fairly standard backstage at last night’s taping of SmackDown.
“Ringside News was told that ‘Vince made sure everyone saw him smile. If you didn’t know what was going on, you’d think he just won the lottery'” the site began.

“He obviously wanted everyone to see that he has plenty of confidence about the current situation. This was credited as ‘one of the most stress-free television days in a long time.’
“Another reason it was ‘stress-free’ was that Bruce Prichard went in for shoulder surgery this week, ‘which was pretty coincidental timing.’
“We were told that Prichard is ‘out of action for a little bit, with Ed Koskey picking up the slack'” the site would conclude.
It’s completely up in the air in terms of the Vince situation, but it is certainly the most intriguing news we’ve had for a while.
