Cody Rhodes leaving AEW was arguably the biggest pro wrestling news revealed this week, and apparently, Vince McMahon wants to bring him back into WWE in a big way.

According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, McMahon wants to make a big deal of securing the services of the former AEW EVP.

‘Cody and WWE haven’t confirmed it but Cody is going to WWE and he’s going to get a big push,’ Keller began on his show.

‘Vince McMahon is going to treat this as a big deal. Everybody I talked to thinks Vince loves the idea of acquiring a co-founder and EVP and, you know, main event wrestler. He just held their secondary singles title not that long ago” Weller added.

“Having him show up on WWE TV is something that Vince is very interested in taking advantage of and making money on it. It could even be a situation where Cody is in a major match at WrestleMania” Weller concluded.

Cody Rhodes coming back to WWE would be a major acquisition for the company, and it would represent the first time that a big-time name from All Elite Wrestling heads to WWE.
