WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was reportedly not backstage this week’s episode of WWE RAW, this news comes following the recent slew of issues that the company has allegedly had with the new omicron variant of the COVID-19 pandemic.
PWInsider and Ringside News both reported that the following key members of backstage staff were not present at this week’s episode of the flagship show:
- WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon
- Senior Vice President & Executive Director Bruce Prichard
- Executive Producer & Chief of Global Television Distribution Kevin Dunn
- Producer, on-air talent & Director of Live Events Adam Pearce
- Senior Producer, Hall of Famer & Vice President of Creative Writing & Booking Michael ‘PS’ Hayes
It is not confirmed if these key men backstage will also be absent for this Friday’s live SmackDown show on FOX, or whether they will remain away from events until the WWE Day 1 PPV event on Saturday, January 1st.
