WWE Money in the Bank 2023 competitor Santos Escobar recently teased cashing in on Roman Reigns if he wins the Men’s ladder match.
This tantalizing prospect hinges on Escobar’s success in the upcoming Men’s Money in the Bank match set to take place in London.
Escobar, however, is not alone in the quest for the highly coveted briefcase. Other WWE superstars, including Damian Priest, LA Knight, Logan Paul, Butch, Ricochet, and Shinsuke Nakamura, are set to participate in the ladder match.
With such an array of talent, it remains uncertain who will ascend the ladder first and secure the briefcase (it’s probably LA Knight). Despite the uncertainty, one thing is sure - the London fans are eagerly anticipating the high-stakes battle’‹.

The Strategy: Waiting for the Right Opportunity
In a recent interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Escobar shared his strategy if he were to win the Money in the Bank contract. When asked if he would consider cashing in the contract on NXT World Champion Carmelo Hayes, Escobar didn’t dismiss the idea.
However, he also mentioned the names of World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Universal Champion Roman Reigns, hinting at his willingness to challenge any top-tier champion.
Escobar emphasized that once a wrestler gets hold of the briefcase, it’s all about waiting for the perfect opportunity to cash in the contract.
In Escobar’s own words, “Absolutely, there are so many great champions, and Carmelo is one of them. Seth is one of them. Roman! But here’s the thing. Once you retrieve that briefcase and think about that contract inside the briefcase that’s gonna change your life and career. Once you have it, then it’s the waiting game and wait for the right opportunity to get on that train.”
