WWE Producer and former SmackDown Superstar Jimmy Wang Yang has reportedly left the company following a short trial period.
According to a new report from PWInsider, he decided to leave the role as he felt it was “not for him” and not something that he wanted to pursue going forward.
The site wrote: “James Yun aka Jimmy Wang Yang is already done with WWE following a short tryout run as a potential Producer, PWInsider.com has confirmed.Â
“Yang started the tryout in October and after several weeks in the role, deciding the position wasn’t for him and opted to move on.”
The former WCW Cruiserweight star reportedly produced several matches and segments during his time in the role across SmackDown and RAW.
