WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella recently reacted to the Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch match from WWE SummerSlam 2021.
Plans were originally set for Lynch to return from her maternity leave in October, although with Sasha Banks unable to appear at the show, the company opted to rush back Lynch for the surprise reaction from the crowd.
Bella, amongst other fans, were extremely unhappy when Lynch defeated Belair in just 26 seconds, ending the first reign of the EST of WWE with a whimper.
Speaking to Scott Fishman at the WWE SummerSlam After Party, Nikki Bella described exactly why she was unhappy with the result and the PPV event overall.

“I can tell you what wasn’t my favorite moment, and it was when she [Bianca Belair] lost” Bella revealed. “That definitely was not my favorite moment.”
“I don’t know if I actually had a favorite moment because, you know, I always back the women and I’m always for the women and you have someone like Bianca, who’s such an incredible talent, and you can’t help but get frustrated when you see moments like that” Bella continued.
“A championship that meant so much, and was lost within seconds. So I have to admit, for this SummerSlam, there truly wasn’t anything that was my favorite” Nikki Bella concluded.
It has since been reported that Becky Lynch will be portraying a heel on television following the win. Whilst this doesn’t make up massively for the quick win, it does at least make some sense storyline wise.
