All Elite Wrestling recently saw the debut of Roderick Strong on AEW Dynamite, and several backstage have apparently been reacting.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, the majority of people backstage were very happy to see Strong appear in the company.
“AEW talent we spoke to were pleasantly surprised, as Strong is well liked by most in the industry” the site reported as part of their Patreon subscription service.

Fightful also had some interesting information with regards to how WWE dealt with Strong leaving the NXT brand, with 2K having recently been told to not include the former ROH star in the game.
“Recently, 2K was told to exclude Roderick Strong from the game. WWE talent that we spoke to had not been given an update by WWE about his status or lack thereof with the company, and we’d simply been told he’d not been at the WWE Performance Center in quite some time” the site noted.
“About the only update we had from those close to him of late was that he was doing well physically and cleared to wrestle” Fightful concluded.
