Sasha Banks seems all set for her NJPW debut at the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom event. Reports all point that she will be getting big bucks for her appearance and maybe even become highest paid Bushiroad star in the history of the company.

F4Wonline’s Dave Meltzer commented on the move of Sasha Banks. He couldn’t confirm if Banks is getting more money than Chris Jericho got but reiterated that it’s a big number regardless:

‘We haven’t been able to confirm what she will be earning or if it’s more than [Chris] Jericho, but those close to the situation did confirm it was a huge per-event deal.

Sasha Banks turned down by STARDOM

Meltzer revealed that the officials of Stardom originally thought that the asking price was too high. The CEO of Bushiroad, the parent company of both NJPW and Stardom ended up making the deal:

“A number Rossy Ogawa of Stardom, when first approached with it, turned it down thinking it wasn’t cost-effective. However, Takaaki Kidani, the CEO of Bushiroad, wanted the deal made at her asked for price.’

Sasha’s deal is with NJPW but she is expected to make at least one appearance for Stardom. The company is hoping that her arrival will help sell subscriptions for New Japan World similar to Chris Jericho.
