A huge change has been confirmed for an upcoming Brock Lesnar match heading into 2023, according to recent reports.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that the company were planning on doing the trilogy match between Lesnar and Bobby Lashley at the WWE Day 1 Premium Live Event.

As you’re probably aware, Day 1 has now been cancelled, so the company are now looking at alternatives in terms of the situation.

Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley 3

“The story of the match is that Lashley totally dominated him, but Lesnar won the match” Meltzer began discussing Crown Jewel match between the two men.

“It leads to them being one and one now, and there’s a natural third match. I don’t know if they’re going to save it for WrestleMania, or I don’t know when.

“Originally it was going to be Day 1, but obviously, that’s out. I don’t know if they’ll do it at Survivor Series, I don’t know. I’m not sure where they’ll do it. They may do it in Montreal or save it for Mania” Meltzer concluded.

As Meltzer stated there is a chance that the match could be taking place at Survivor Series or WrestleMania, but the Royal Rumble in January is also a viable option.
