Last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown had a lot going on behind the scenes, but what happened with Brock Lesnar ‘leaving’ the building?
According to a recent report from Fightful Select, the whole situation involving the ‘Beast Incarnate’ was ‘overblown.’
Several sites had reported that Lesnar had felt the building, pretty much just as Vince McMahon announced his retirement.
Some stated that the former UFC Champion was of the impression that ‘if he’s retired, then I’m leaving too.’
“Fightful was able to confirm Bryan Alvarez’s report that Brock Lesnar was upset following the Vince McMahon retirement announcement, and left the building” the site began.

“PWInsider was also able to corroborate this report. WWE had pulled Brock Lesnar from advertising as they weren’t sure that he’d actually be at the show” Fightful added.
“However, we’re told that things blew over, Lesnar returned. One source called the situation ‘overblown’ but admitted they didn’t know if he’d end up actually being on the show.
“The script was re-written and didn’t feature Lesnar at all. The rundown also did not feature Lesnar, and the last segment was left in a way that Lesnar could be included” Fightful concluded.
As of writing, Lesnar is still expected to be part of the WWE SummerSlam event in a week’s time. Overall though, what an absolutely wild situation for the company.
