Batista hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to a Hall of Fame induction.

The former world champion was originally announced to be part of the 2020 class of the Hall of Fame. His induction, however, had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. The Hollywood star revealed in 2021 that he wasn’t able to get inducted due to ‘previous obligations.’

2022 also didn’t bring any news regarding a possible induction. Now that Triple H has taken over the WWE creative, many believe it might be the perfect time for the former WWE star to go in. When asked about a potential 2023 Hall of Fame induction, Batista told ComicBook.com that he is trying:

‘I hope so, but I can’t say for sure. I can say that I’m trying. I am trying.’

Batista’s meeting with Triple H

The Animal mentioned how he doesn’t keep up with WWE because he doesn’t get to watch much TV nowadays. He also revealed a recent meeting with Triple H but the acting star did not provide any details of their conversation:

‘I haven’t watched [WWE] much, and that’s just because I’m not watching TV much these days, [but] I did have a sit-down conversation with Hunter because he was in Tampa for ’˜Smackdown.’’
