In the world of professional wrestling, real-life relationships often become part of the storyline. For WWE superstar Becky Lynch, this was a concern when she started dating fellow wrestler Seth Rollins.
In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Lynch shared her initial worries about their relationship becoming public due to a potential WWE storyline.
Lynch and Rollins’ relationship became public knowledge in April 2019, and they tied the knot in June 2021. Despite her initial concerns, Lynch admitted that she knew early on that Rollins was the one for her. “I knew fairly early on that he was the one and that there wasn’t a more perfect person for me out there,” she said.

However, Lynch’s concerns were not unfounded. She was worried about how the fans would perceive their relationship if it became part of a WWE storyline.
She also struggled with balancing her personal life with her professional persona in the ring. “Trying to figure out that balance, it was harder for me than it was for him. I often felt awkward, like I’m a certain way in our personal life and then I have to maintain a certain aura and a certain presence in the ring ’¦ I did struggle with that,” Lynch explained.

Lynch’s fears were realized when she and Rollins were indeed involved in a WWE storyline. The angle involved Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, and according to Lynch, it wasn’t the best. “Sure enough, we ended up in a storyline in WWE and it wasn’t the best,” she said.
Despite the challenges, Lynch and Rollins have managed to maintain their relationship amidst the public scrutiny and the pressures of their professional lives. Their love story serves as a testament to their commitment to each other, both inside and outside the ring.
