New WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair revealed that she was legitimately injured during her match with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport following her match, she stated that her eye was swelling up following a botched move.
“I thought it was getting better, but it’s swelling up” Belair revealed to Helwani. “I knew Becky was going to bring everything she had to me and she did.
“This is the result of it. I just had to overcome. It’s okay. It’s hurt, not injured. I’m the toughest and am gonna push through” Bianca Belair concluded.

The contest was arguably the match of the night, with both women proving that they are some of the best going in the world today.
We will likely get a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash, and that should be a fun encounter too, potentially with a stipulation.
