WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has been off of television for quite some time, but what the latest on her status amid rumors of her return?
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE are currently working on creative for the Superstar to return.
“Creative is making plans for the Charlotte Flair return”, Meltzer claimed in the latest issue of the weekly publication.
When is Charlotte Flair returning to WWE?
From what we have been told by sources, the working plan right now is for Flair to get a big Championship match at WrestleMania 39.
Flair vs Bianca Belair is what the company is apparently looking at as one of the headline matches for the event, but it is not confirmed exactly how they are going to get there.
In terms of the Royal Rumble, having Flair win the match is certainly one way in which to set up the contest for Mania, but that may not be the case.
Becky Lynch is expected to be challenging Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, so the company may decide to have Lynch win the 30-woman match.
Flair will need to have something between now and Mania, but we do not currently know what the plan is for her as of right now.
