Cody Rhodes may not debut ahead of WWE WrestleMania 38

Last updated

Cody Rhodes has re-signed with WWE, but he could potentially not show up on WWE programming before the WrestleMania 38 event itself.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted how WWE has been discussing the various ways in which Rhodes could re-debut.

“Every impression I have is that he’s doing the Hardys thing where you show up on the day of the show” Meltzer concluded on his show.

“I mean he could show up tomorrow. We got two RAWs left. Like The Hardys when they showed up on the day of the show at WrestleMania. I know that that’s been talked about” Meltzer concluded.

It has already been revealed that Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins will be taking place on Night 2 of the event, based on a leak via the r/squaredcircle Subreddit.

All that remains is whether or not WWE will decide to reveal that Cody is making his return to the company ahead of WrestleMania 38 itself.

At this point, that doesn’t seem likely and he could be a potential surprise on the show.
