EXCLUSIVE: Vince McMahon expected to appear on WWE TV

There has been a lot of scuttlebutt regarding Vince McMahon and the sale of WWE over the past few weeks, but will he be back on WWE TV?

Speaking to different sources, we’ve been told that there is discussion backstage in the company right now regarding McMahon and an appearance at the Royal Rumble.

We do not currently know in what capacity McMahon will be appearing, whether it will be in person or a pre-taped segment, but there has been discussion of him appearing in some form on the show.

On top of this, we’re not currently aware of what McMahon is even said to be doing, just that he could be appearing on camera at the show.

It’s quite unbelievable that McMahon is even considering appearing on the show at this point, especially as he only retired from his role as Chairman amid allegations of misconduct back in late 2022.

We’ll hopefully be able to get more on this story as it develops, and whilst plans can, of course, change on a daily basis, this is one of the many things being discussed right now.

Another interesting wrinkle to this story was revealed by Mike Leonard of Bloomberg Law, who confirmed that McMahon is being hit with a class action lawsuit by one of the company’s shareholders:

“A class action lawsuit has been launched against Vince McMahon. A shareholder is suing McMahon in Delaware, accusing him of wielding his ~81% voting control to impose his will on $WWE illegally. Cites board changes, threats to interfere w/ media rights” he revealed.

This could obviously change what happens on screen, but if Vince McMahon wants to appear on camera then there is likely not much that is going to stop him.
