A former WWE Superstar has said that Cesaro would not be a benefit to AEW if he went to the company, nor would they be a benefit to him.

It was confirmed earlier this year that Cesaro had left WWE after failing to come to terms on a new contract with the company.

Speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado said that he would rather see Cesaro make his way to IMPACT or New Japan Pro Wrestling.

‘He’ll go anywhere and become the guy,’ Dorado began. ‘But there will always be somebody saying, ’˜well, he didn’t do it in WWE.’ But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter.

“It depends on how he feels and him leaving tells me he’s leaving for himself. So no matter what he does, he’s going to be happy with it” the former WWE Superstar continued.

Lince Dorado on Cesaro

“Any company would benefit from Claudio. Whether it’s a wrestling role, a teaching role, anything. That dude gets it, 110%.

“If it was me though, I would love to see Claudio kill it in New Japan or Impact. And the only reason I say that is there’s no difference for him in AEW. I feel like, not that he would be in the same spot, but I think he doesn’t benefit AEW and AEW doesn’t benefit him, at this moment” Dorado concluded.
