WWE Superstar Omos will reportedly be getting a ‘shock’ opponent at WrestleMania 38 against a former WWE Champion in April.
Fightful Select has reported that Bobby Lashley is currently in store for a match against the giant at the event.
The site noted: “Wrestlevotes tweeted that Omos was in store for a surprising WrestleMania opponent. Fightful learned that as of this weekend, the planned opponent was former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.
“Lashley was injured in January at the Royal Rumble and was expected to miss up to four months. He was written off TV the following month at Elimination Chamber before he got into the match.
“The card is subject to change, as do WWE’s plans. Fightful has not gained confirmation that Lashley has been cleared.”
Omos vs Bobby Lashley
Lashley was injured back at the WWE Royal Rumble event, which meant he had to be quickly removed from the Elimination Chamber match back in February.
We’re expecting that WWE will confirm the match on RAW next week if it is indeed set to go ahead.
