WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently took to social media to respond to a disgusting message from a ‘fan’ about her status.
One account on Twitter wrote that “Ripley should be abused,” and rightly, the woman behind the character was absolutely livid.
Ripley would tweet: “Hi, Demi here’¦. Ya know, the real-life human inside Rhea Ripley. Just wanted to point out that WRESTLERS & any form of ENTERTAINER is a real-life human off-screen.
“Don’t wish harm on ANYONE, don’t wish for anyone to be BURIED. Don’t wish for anyone to be FIRED.
F’N disgrace.”
Rhea Ripley Angry
It’s becoming more and more common for wrestlers and personalities to have to make these sorts of statements on their social media.
Unfortunately, with the way that social media currently exists? It’s not likely that we’ve seen the last of this sort of thing.
Until social media has a way to monitor these sort of ‘faceless troll’ accounts, there’s no way to control this sort of thing happening.
