WWE Superstar Sasha Banks has been rumored to be appearing for New Japan Pro Wrestling in January, but is she signed to the company?
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, Banks is still with WWE and will be until the start of 2023.
“All people need to know is: She is still under WWE contract till 1st January” the site claimed on Twitter this weekend.
“If she has agreed to anything whilst under contract, WWE would need to approve it, unless she has done it without permission. If so WWE can block it” Xero concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Bringing Banks back into the fold has been a huge priority for Triple H and the WWE creative team for some time, and it looks like there may still be work to be done.
We’ve seen New Japan and WWE working together in a small sense with the recent Karl Anderson/NEVER Openweight title situation, so could this be another back-and-forth deal?
