AJ Styles is set to face Finn Balor on the WWE Survivor Series 2022 card, but an unbelievable statistic has come to light ahead of the event.

Profightdb has information on the Phenomenal One’s WWE run, and it turns out that the former WWE Champion has not won a Premium Live Event match since WWE Crown Jewel in 2019.

Speaking on his Writing with Russo podcast, former WWE writer Vince Russo discussed the Survivor Series match for Styles and what he sees the outcome being.

AJ Styles Statistics

“Somebody put up a graphic today, it was like AJ hadn’t won a pay-per-view match in three years or something” Russo began.

“They’re obviously going with Judgment Day [to win at the Survivor Series event]. But, bro, if AJ has not won a singles match that long on a pay-per-view, this is the chance to give him a win because he’s beating Finn in a singles match so Judgment Day really isn’t getting beat” Russo claimed.

“So if it were me because I did not realize bro, he’s gone that long, you gotta give AJ a win at some point bro” the former WCW President concluded.
