Former All Elite Wrestling and GCW star Joey Janela recently took to social media to respond to a dig from WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
Booker took umbrage with Janela’s recent spot against Drew Parker where he set his boot on fire to deliver a superkick.
During a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revealed: “Joey Janela, that was the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my career. I’m serious.”

Janela would take to Twitter to respond to the WWE Hall of Famer in a hilarious way, tweeting: ‘Sheesh coming from the guy who also had fire on his gear for half his career.’
The now-former AEW star would also later note that “Booker was correct” and he seemed to take the whole thing in good spirits.
Game Changer Wrestling was built on doing wild spots that get people talking online, and it is unlikely that will stop anytime soon.
If GCW decides to do another fire spot in future, then hopefully they’ll actually have a fire extinguisher on site…unlike this time.
